The Cedar — a boutique themed hotel on Sandusky Bay

The Cedar is a 12-room boutique micro resort at 903 E Bayview Drive, Bay View, OH 44870, on the Sandusky Bay waterfront — about 10 minutes from Cedar Point, 15 minutes from Kalahari Resorts, and a short drive from the Jet Express ferries to Put-in-Bay and Kelleys Island. Every room is individually themed and designed: stay in 12 different stories, not 12 identical rooms.

Check-in is fully self-service — no front desk, no lines. You receive a personal smart-lock door code before arrival and let yourself in any time after 3:00 PM (check-out 11:00 AM). Every room has a private bathroom, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a smart TV, and an in-room coffee maker. Dogs are welcome in every room ($50 pet fee per stay). Free on-site parking.

Tique's Bar — waterfront bar on the property

Tique's Bar is The Cedar's own outdoor waterfront bar, open to the public: handcrafted cocktails, local Ohio beer, wine, seltzers, and zero-proof drinks on Sandusky Bay. Furnished monthly stays — fall, winter and spring

From fall through spring The Cedar offers its rooms as furnished monthly stays for travel nurses, contractors, and anyone who needs a place for a month or more: $1,100 per month all-in (utilities, WiFi, linens, laundry room access, private bath, keypad entry, free parking, dogs welcome), 30-night minimum, month-to-month after that.
